Charles Manson is Dead.... 11/20/17

Charles Manson Dies at 83; Wild-Eyed Leader of a Murderous Crew

Charles Manson, one of the most notorious murderers of the 20th century, who was very likely the most culturally persistent and perhaps also the most inscrutable, died on Sunday in Kern County, Calif. He was 83 and had been behind bars for most of his life.

He died of natural causes in a hospital, the California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation said in a news release.

Convicted of nine murders in all, Mr. Manson was known in particular for the seven brutal killings collectively called the Tate-LaBianca murders, committed by his followers on two consecutive August nights in 1969.

=============================================

I spoke to Katie about 4 days ago, and I said:
"There's not gonna be a big hoopla when Manson dies. He'll disappear like a fart in the wind".
And then, I went-on to explain why...

Up to this point, it seems my prediction was accurate.
Manson's death isn't even a "trending tropic" on Facebook.
That's pretty pathetic, when you consider all the benign topics which ARE trending today.

By tomorrow, the News outlets will be back to Trump's "Tweets" and Thanksgiving.

The fact is...
Much of the "TLB community" deludes themselves into thinking that "TLB/Manson" is still a hot topic nationwide... but, sorry to say, it's just not.

There are roughly 325 million people in this country.
How many people are involved in the "TLB community"?
1500?
3000?
Let's just say 5,000 for shits-n-giggles... it's a drop in the bucket.

I remember when "Star" was engaged to Manson.
Some people on "the boards" claimed that "Star" was marrying Manson for his valuable "estate". LOL

Are these people kidding me???
Charles Manson has been making spiders out of his socks for 5 decades.
What "estate" are these people talking about?

Manson once described himself as a "Nobody"... and in 2017, that's pretty-much the case.

Only 4 things are going to come from his death:

#1) A couple hundred "collectors" will be buying and selling worthless junk on Ebay.
#2) A couple hundred mentally unstable people will be forced to find someone new to follow. (Many of the same people... LOL).
#3) Leslie and Bruce's chances at parole will increase somewhat, now that the "boogeyman" is gone.
#4) A dozen crappy TLB books and movies will surface in the next 3-5 years... all jam-packed with shit we've seen/heard a million times.

  1. Finally! Thanks, Katie.

In other news, Katy Perry's deal for the property next to the LaBianca's old house:

  2. Ding dong, the witch is dead!! Katie, I'm blown away, trying to find this on the news channels and zilch. Nothing...I thought this would be a huge story. TMZ says Debra was contacted by the prison with the notification. I wonder how all of 'The Family' feel about his death. It has to be a huge weight off of the victims' families. Come on everybody, tell us how you feel...

  3. Aha, just saw it on the crawl on the bottom of the screen on CNN

  4. where will he be buried or his ashes spread? did he have a will? who will inherit his false teeth?

  5. Thanks Starship! I didn't know there was a convent next to the LaBianca's house.

  6. This whole story has been a real let down. I didn't hear anything on Fox News for 2 hours, then barely a mention. I guess they have bigger things to talk about.

I was hoping that Charlie would reveal something before his death about why all this happened. I'm wondering how many "would be authors" are going to come out of the woodwork and claim that they "got word" of Charlie's revelations...

  7. Geraldo was on Fox earlier this morning, Katie, with a clip of his 80's era iprison interview with Charlie, and he closed his story about his death this morning with the words "go to hell Charlie."

  8. Marliese, LOL. I remember that interview.

  9. Mstormsurge,

It all depends if he left a will or not. If he died without a will, and without next of kin notifications, the county will cremate his remains and, after a lengthy period, dispose in a cemetery for indigents.

    Sound familiar Katie?
That's exactly what I told you, a couple days ago.

    I said:
"Obviously, they must have a system in place, for people who have no money, no cemetery plot, and no legal family. They'll cremate his remains (cuz that's the cheapest option) and dispose of his remains in some state-appointed spot."

    As I also said:
"They're not gonna spend big money on the disposal of a criminal. They'll do it 'on the cheap'".

Unless someone steps forward and claims (and proves) "next of kin" status... OR, unless Manson left a Legally-binding Will, he's gonna be roasted and tossed on a state property.

This kinda shit happens all the time.
They have a procedure in place for such situations... and I'm sure, it's not an elaborate or expensive one...

  12. Beauders,

If you see any rusty nails, old guitar strings, used belt buckles or bullet shells, while you're on Ebay, grab them for me.

Christmas is coming, and I haven't bought Katie anything yet... LOL

  16. I was watching NBC (channel surfing) early this am (or last nite, depending on your viewpoint) and they announced his death. They were prepared. They had about 5 minutes of footage showing the original news broadcast of the murders, etc. That was the only news channel that really showed anything. I kept channel surfing and just found snippets.

On "Inside Edition" today, they said no one wanted to claim his body and the state will wait for 10 days to see if it's claimed.

    ReplyDelete
  17. "No one wanted to claim his body"

    LOL

C'mon Venus... go claim the body.

Surely you've got some extra room in your patio garden. Lmao!

    ReplyDelete
  18. OMG!

I just had a "Weekend at Bernie's" visual. Lmao.

I can picture the "Mansonites" claiming his body, and then dragging him around to all "the TLB sites" for a full week. Lmfao!

    I swear...
There's a few who would actually do that...

    ReplyDelete
  19. VENUS!!

Yeah, they could do "Weekend at Spahn's Ranch". LOL. They could prop Charlie up on a rock and play a recording of his voice talking about the meaning of life & reflecting back & stuff.

  22. Marshawn Lynch is trending on Facebook.

Evidently, Lynch "took a butt cheek" instead of a knee (i.e., he sat down during the National Anthem), and Trump is blasting him on Twitter.

Charles Manson must be turning-over in his urn, knowing that a "blackie" sitting down on his butt, is bigger news than his death.

    Let's face it:
It's pretty bad when your death doesn't even register on social media "trending feeds".

    I've checked all day.
    Manson never "trended" at all.

    No one gives a fuck.
    The numbers don't lie...

  23. LS,

How much do you want to bet that there will be a flurry of counterfeit items, all allegedly belonging to the Wooly Hophead?

    ReplyDelete
  24. Yeah Dilligaf...

The last fork he ate with... $500

The last roll of toilet paper he wiped his ass with... $600

The last towel he jerked-off into (complete with DNA sample)... $700

A spider knitted from his last pair of "prison issue" socks... $800

  26. I watched The Five today on Fox and they mentioned Manson dying and they had NOTHING good to say about him. Kimberly Guilfoyle said that she trained under Steven Kay in the LA D.A's office and he told her a lot about the Manson group, how he went to all of their parole hearings trying to keep them in and they should never get out. She also mentioned how hard it was to keep these people in with today's liberal climate, and she was glad that Manson never got out.

  29. Lynyrd believe it or not I do have a bed spring from Spahn, I got it for free from Kregg Sanders around the millennium. Maybe it's west coast thing but I recorded at least an hours worth of coverage. I hope someone---John Aes-Nihil---is recording the L.A. coverage. The powers that be at Fox News got Geraldo out of bed to report on story and it looks like NBC got Tom Brokaw out of bed too, as I got a little from him too.

  30. How much do you want for that spring?

Money is no object, when it comes to Katie's Xmas present.

  36. The liberal media is having a small hey-day over this. A Newsweek reporter says that Trump & Manson talk just alike, but the reporter later said she has NO IDEA what Manson ever said. Nuff about that bullshit.

Another paper says that someone has already claimed Manson's body, but quickly backed off that report because evidently it's not true.

It's funny how when this crime happened in 1969, it was very much national news. But now it's just a bunch of liberal rags trying to make money off Manson's remains, and without much luck.

Not many stories carry on their gravitas for 48 years. Not even this one.
At various times, some stories just catch a large segment of the public imagination. When John Lennon died, the earth shook and many people remembered the name of his killer. When George Harrison died, two days later it was as if he'd not died at all and who can remember the name of the guy that broke into his house and stabbed him nearly to death ?
We've seen so many terror attacks in the last 15 years but which one remains and inspires the conspiracists like 9/11 ?
When Princess Diana died, the internet hadn't caught on big in Britain so in a sense, even though we had 24 hour news, there was still a certain slowness in the way news caught hold of our collective attention.
Not so now. It's just relentless and often out of date by the end of the day. I noticed the news about Manson's death was already altered between when I saw it in the morning and when I read up on it later. In the morning 4 of the victims were named. By the evening only Sharon was. Steve Parent missed out both times though.
He was mentioned on both the TV news I watched {BBC and Sky} but in both instances, the person reading it read it like it was just 'news' which makes one wonder how inaccurate much of the news is because we don't follow the subject matter in a way that's informed like we do with TLB.
