Just wanted to let you know that the hit ReelzChannel tv series, Murder Made Me Famous returns this Saturday, July 23rd and Charles Manson is our first episode! https://www.facebook.com/MMMFamous/
Heads up to fellow Southern Californians, The New Beverly Theater is playing a Sharon Tate double feature August 7th & 8th. The Fearless Vampire Killers & The Wrecking Crew. Then on the 9th they're playing Manson & The Helter Skelter Murders.
Venus, LOL. I wish we could watch The Wrecking Crew together. I've never seen it.
Just wanted to mention that an hour before this program on Reelz, there's an hour long program called Charles Manson: Fame and Scandal. That one starts at 7pm Central/8pm Eastern.
Hi Katie, laughed right out loud reading your "rearrange the furniture" comment. Haven't heard that one before, but there is a convincing case to be made that Charlie and someone else went up to Cielo after the killers got back to Spahn's...not to rearrange the furniture but to check out the crime scene and alter the evidence. We've talked about that from time to time. Used to know as much as anyone about that idea back in the days of KTS and the Col's blog, but have forgotten half of what I used to know! I do remember being convinced though...that the crime scene the killers left behind is not the crime scene found by the police. Studying the blood map and the pools of blood on the porch is a good place to start questioning what else may have been done to the victims... And we can never say it enough...the victims can't tell us, the killers are liars, and the police and investigators made mistakes.
Yeah, Charlie went back, but not to rearrange the furniture. What the killers described and what the evidence showed the next morning were 2 different things. Yeah blood pooled on the porch and the eyeglasses left behind.
Excellent statement: the victims can't tell us anything except forensics, all we have to rely on is killers' testimony which is dubious at best!
Hi Venus...have to tell you, it used to be that whenever I thought of or imagined Cielo Dr, I saw the blood and the dead bodies. For the last few years though, when I I think of Cielo Dr, I see Michele Morgan and her pretty French farmhouse furnishings. Thanks for posting that video a while ago.

I don't find it convincing. It's plausible but not convincing. For starters, not a single person has ever come out and definitively said anything about it. And wherever it has come out {Nuel Emmons, Ed Sanders, Jeff Guinn....} no one ever backs up the assertion and Manson rejects Emmons' book as bullshit. Tex is the only one of the killers that has actually spoken about it and the best he can say is "I believe he went...." which tells us nothing. He doesn't know. For me, there is always one question that needs to be asked in relation to this; how would anyone have known if Manson went to Cielo ? Him going to Cielo would be as good as him saying "I'm guilty" and we all know his stance on that..... In a way, Manson going to the house to tamper with evidence makes little sense. What evidence ? Other than Susan losing her knife {which was found by Police anyway} what would tie the killers to the scene......that didn't anyway ?
I do remember being convinced though...that the crime scene the killers left behind is not the crime scene found by the police
But given that none of us were there, it would be impossible to determine that. The killers couldn't really have any idea of the crime scene they left behind, seeing they left in the dark and in a hurry, not knowing where Linda Kasabian was. Susan wouldn't have known how the room Sharon died in looked because when she threw the towel back in there, she never looked. There are definitely oddities, such as no one recalling Tex shooting Frykowski or Susan seeing a dog in the house but there being no bloody paw prints anywhere. For me the clue is in Tex's description to Charlie of the whole thing being chaotic. The main thing about chaos is that one doesn't recall every detail because they're.....chaotic !

That's an email, I received.
I know nothing about the show.
If the show sucks, blame the author of the email.

Whoever wrote this article says that Manson went back and re-arranged the furniture at Cielo. LOL. That's new to me!

Well, I'm glad you posted it, Lynyrd. I don't get the channel so I can't watch it anyway, but thanks for the heads up for those who'd be interested!
I'd like to see "The Wrecking Crew" on the big screen. Maybe "The Fearless Vampire Killers" too.
Katie and I need to have our popcorn and Dr. Pepper!
