Cappy's Ex-Husband (Trona Coyote) has passed away

For those of you that are not familiar with "Trona Coyote" or just plain "Coyote", his real name was David XXXXX. (Last name omitted intentionally)

Coyote was the man credited with getting Cappy away from The Family.  They were married in the 70's and had 4 children-2 boys, 2 girls.  They did divorce, he remarried many years ago and remained in Trona.

His Obituary:

David XXXXXX (“Coyote”) of Trona, California, died on August 1, 2013, at the age of 75 from complications of congestive heart failure and pneumonia.  David was born July 24, 1938, to parents Charlie xxxxx and WauWease xxxxxx in Fort Worth, Texas. He was a fun-loving, mischievous boy who excelled at playing football and helping his dad work with cutting horses, hunting dogs and the family restaurant. Following high school David worked many jobs, including restaurant cook and manager, bull rider, truck driver, and precision machinist. He served his country in Southeast Asia as a civilian with Air America for seven years. Upon his return to the states, he headed west and settled in the Mojave Desert, where he discovered his gift for prospecting and designing and building mineral and material processing plants. He was an expert equipment operator and road builder. Over the years, he mined tungsten, gold, and various industrial materials. David loved fast cars, old trucks, ATV’s and Harley Davidson motorcycles. He loved excitement, adventure, and taking a risk. He was a kind and generous man, with a particular love for and wisdom about animals and children.

David leaves behind his wife of 25 years, Cindy xxxxx, and his children Mike xxxxx of xxxxxx, Texas; Pam xxxxxx of xxxxx, Texas, Tina xxxxx of xxxxx, Texas, David xxxxx, Jr. of xxxxx, California, Ian xxxxxx of xxxxx, Oregon, Samantha xxxxx of xxxxx, California, Phillip xxxxx of xxxxxx, Texas, and Vincent xxxxx of xxxxx, California. He also leaves a devoted friend and care-giver, Samantha xxxxx, of Trona. David’s family includes a long line of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews and many friends.  He is greatly loved and will be missed by many.

A memorial service will be held for David on Monday, August 12 at 2:00 p.m. at the Trona Cumberland Presbyterian Church, 83456 Argus Avenue. The service will be followed by a reception at the church. Donations may be made in his name to the Trona Cumberland Presbyterian Church building maintenance fund.

I wrestled with posting this for a long time.  A lot of this is common knowledge so I decided to go ahead and publish, but leave out last names and exact locations and the link to this obit.

As to how I know this man was the person to take Cappy away, a mutual friend told me--I'm just going to leave it at that.
