now if everyone would just ante up ten cents a visit then Lynyrd could get that convertible red cadillac he wants. for some reason I have a hard time listening to the Dead while reading Manson stuff - Charlie and Jerry just don't seem compatible - but the song Truckin may be appropriate here...what a long strange trip it's been. Congrats, Lynyrd, u da man. And you too Miss Katie.
This is Paul Watkin's daughter's website. In it she mentions growing up in a home with substance abuse suffering from abuse, neglect and other thinf at the hands of alcoholic parents, Dunno if she means Paul or the second husband of Martha.
Well 43 years ago, the victims at Cielo Drive were already dead, but Leno and Rosemary were just about ready to head back to LA with their boat, which they went to retrieve.
They only had a few hours left. Because the hippy cult leader was pissed off.
He was pretty smart. He got his minions to do his dirty work and was hoping to not get his hands dirty with actual detailed killing. He was hoping that if they were caught his minions would go down and in their incoherent ramblings they would never be able to involve him in these killings.
Unluckily for him...Bugliosi was assigned this case. He figured it all out. HA HA HA.
You have a nice pleasant day, have lunch with friends, have a nap, go to dinner with friends, come home to your sanctum sanctorum and expect to have a nice evening, and are invaded by a bunch of brainwashed hippies who were told to kill you for no reason at all.
You cry for your mama...but she can't hear you....
Another couple drives up to Lake Isabella to retrieve their boat and their son who has been enjoying the lake all week. He decides to stay one more night. You hook up the boat and drive the long drive back, arriving at around 1:30 in the morning...the same time Charlie seems to wake up and drive straight there after driving aimlessly for hours.
BTW, the boat wasn't paid for. They still owed around $2700 for that boat. A boat they purchased to enjoy boating on lakes with their kids.
No connection with the Manson family. But inevitably, irrevocably, they did connect.
Katie look on the home page under the foto that lights up as BRIGHT CLIPPINGS. Just scan your mouse over the pics. Martha died of an overdose after two frontal attacks from cancer on her first husband Paul Watkins. The second husband was apparently in over his head and csrried more problems into Martha's s life.
I have been listening to the Starcity podcasts of the William Garretson interviews. I am trying to fit his bizarre misconceptions into the actual logistics of that fateful night. I can't tell if Garretson has complex PTSD or something else. There is no doubt he was traumatized by being charged with 5 murders. I can only surmise that Rosie Polanski is a destructive fraud,
Yet!
There remains a story by Garretson that people showed up at the door of the guest house about an hour and a half after the murders.
If you boil down Garretson's wild three eyed baby story what remains is several people showed up at his door in the middle of the night.
Is Garretson's story a convoluted receation of Manson, a baby, and two others coming to his door post murder? I believe it is.
Garretson was completely destroyed mentally when charged with 5 murders. This is perhaps the most agrecious miscarriage of justice in American history, There wasn't a speck of blood near the guest house yet they charged Garretson with a bloody sloppy knife murder of 5 people. It was insanity.
Garretson interjects into the interview and suggests that Sharon was pregnant with twins and that Rosie is the one whom survived.
This is poppycock as Sharon was 8 1/2 months pregnant and two heartbeats would easily be known to all.
What we are left with is Garretson is talking with people on the patio post murder. This jives with Manson's story that he went back. Nancy Pitman and Clem are tumored to be present in the return.
Did Nancy bring a baby with her?
It's so crazy to think that Nancy would bring along a baby that it fits exactly into the most bizarre murders in human history.
Mr P- I think it was the second husband who had the problem. I know Martha had stayed sober for many years but had problems at the end of her life. I believe she ran the Shoshone Museum, was an excellent photographer (I think one of the daughters also took up photography) and was interested in the environment (chem trails etc).
Tis an interesting spiritual insight...Martha "misses" Paul, but tells her daughter that despite Paul renouncing Manson and being a key prosecution witness and turning his life around big time, she believes he is in hell for his fishing for girls for Charlie. I guess Martha believed in the Christian concepts of heaven and hell but not in the doctrines of repentance and forgiveness. But forget the theology, what a shitty thing to say to your daughter. I know Martha was in pain, and using chemicals, but that one crosses the line.
"if I had a dime"...sorta the bloggers version of that BareNaked Ladies song, 'If I had a million dollars.' I've always thought you and Liz should be on salary. Maybe petition Charlie's estate. Or talk one of the wacko liberal colleges in New England into offering a course in Mansonology and get yourself tenured. This really should be a paying gig.
YYYYYYEEEAAAAHHHH BAYYY-BEEEE!!
ReplyDeleteThanks guys!!! :)
LOL

Thanks for the link Mr. P. Exactly what tab is that under? I couldn't find it.

Charlie and company knocked on Garretson's dor at three a.m. and spoke to Garretson.
ReplyDeleteWhy do I think this?
Because Garretson claims that one of these late night visitors said, "enough people have died already".
On the night of Aug 9th 1969 William Garretson went insane.
Mr P- I think it was the second husband who had the problem. I know Martha had stayed sober for many years but had problems at the end of her life. ReplyDeleteMr. P., I don't think Garretson was ever charged with the murders, just arrested.
ReplyDeleteBut I agree, it would be enough to drive anyone nuts. Garretson & Chapman...2 more victims.
Please Mr P.
