Actually, I believe the video was made by Backporch Jurgend - gotta give credit where credit is due!
ReplyDeleteShe did a great job, love it BJ!
Yikes!
ReplyDeleteGotta fix that!
Thanks Kimchi!!!!!!
OK... IT'S FIXED!
ReplyDeleteTHANKS BACKPORCH JUGEND!!!
YOU ROCK!!!
Wow Bob...
ReplyDeleteThat was exactly my first observation too!
Tex looks thrilled that his parent's are visiting.
The parents look very uncomfortable in that environment... almost like they're flinching in discomfort.
They both look like they'd rather be 1,000 miles away.
Maybe they hadn't come to grips, with the reality of their son's crimes and incarceration.
I don't suppose too many parent's would be thrilled about the prospect of taking family photos in a penitentiary. LOL
The one good thing about Tex...
ReplyDeleteHe's the only "character" in this entire saga, who is universally hated by everyone.
I mean...
You can shit all over this guy, with absolutely no worry of opposition, whatsoever! LOL
He's the gift, that keeps on giving.
You could do a week-long "Roast" of this guy... and no one would object. LOL
"He's the only "character" in this entire saga, who is universally hated by everyone"
ReplyDeleteAmen, well said! But now we won't have anything to argue or disagree about...LOL
LOL
ReplyDeleteHey everybody...stop dissin' my boy Tex!!!
ReplyDeleteHA HA HA. Just kidding.
Good 'ole baby-killin' Tex.
He's lucky he's not a chrome-dome like his pappy.
Awesome video!!! Thanks Backporch Jugend!
ReplyDeleteTex looks so dork-i-fied in that picture with the cars.
He went from a bloodthirsty ripper to a cretinous nosepicking clod. HA HA.
I'd sure like to know what was going on in Hawaii...
ReplyDeleteTex made a few trips there, Barbara H and Ruthie...
Brian L....
What's up with the Islands?
C'mon Katie, do some sleuthin'
You honestly can't say they "were on vacation" those people were living out of trash cans, they were on a mission...but why? What was there? Who was there?
ReplyDeleteThat one really bugs me...
Kimchi, here are some possible reasons for the interest in the islands:
ReplyDelete1) They thought that Don Ho was much more musically talented than Charlie.
2) They had heard a rumor that the bottomless pit had been moved from the desert to Mauna Loa.
3) They were hoping to be extras in Hawaii Five-O.
4) They heard Bing Crosby singing Mele Kalikimaka and just got carried away.
5) They wanted a chance to be able to say Aloha to someone who really understood what it meant.
6) The girls thought it would be groovy & green to wear grass skirts.
Boy, it must have REALLY been easy to get to Hawaii back then. Stolen credit cards, money from Mom & Dad. HA HA.
C'mon Katie... get serious!
ReplyDeleteWhat is up with the islands?
There was/is something going on there..
I've asked my best contact, he don't know...nobody has has ever asked, but me! What was going on in Hawaii?
ReplyDeleteIn the 60's and 70's it was not a trend to go there...it was and still is expensive to live there.
I detached the Sandra Good photo from this thread... and made a seperate thread for it under this one.
ReplyDelete#1) It makes the index much more accurate.
Bobby, Tex and Sandra on their own thread.
That way, when you look stuff up... you find what you want.
Otherwise... the index becomes a jumbled-up mess.
#2) The conversations will make more sense...
OK... I'm talking to myself... LOL
Sandra Good below...
Hmm...
ReplyDeleteI never gave it a whole lot of thought before Kimchi.
But, now that you mention it...
It is a bit curious.
Maybe someone will come forth with some ideas.
It's a bit curious to me, considering their "starting location".
I mean...
If they were living in some God-forsaken place "weather-wise" like Maine... a Hawaii vacation would make much more sense to me.
But...
Already living in sunny California... it would seem a bit less of a necessity, wouldn't it?
Plus... with all your good friends ("family" as it were) frolicking around bare-ass in California... why would they want to detach themselves?
Heck... I'd stay in sunny California, where all the girls were! LOL
I really have very limited knowledge regarding the whole Hawaii thing myself however... so, beyond pondering... unfortunately... I've got nothing. LOL
This thread should definitely bring Venus out tonight.
ReplyDeleteShe's a bigger fan of Tex, than Sharon! LOLOL
; )
Lynyrd, it just doesn't make sense...they went to Hawaii for a reason..
ReplyDeleteI can't say drugs, there were lots here, weather? No... they weren't in a position to "vacation" there...only the elite did that..at that time....

ReplyDeleteKatie, all your saying is correct from what I've read, but never thought of the Scientology angle...It just kind of stops...why did they go there? All Babs said was that it was "a get away"... yeah right...on Dennis Rice's credit card... but DR didn't look like the kind to have a legit credit card...
ReplyDeleteIt seems to have been financed by ?????

ReplyDeleteBut there was something in Hawaii, a connection of some kind...why else go there?
ReplyDeleteWhy did Tex go there over and over?

ReplyDeleteThat's what I'm saying, "what was in Hawaii?"
ReplyDeleteI deleted my comments. No one reads them anyway. Big deal...right?
ReplyDeleteHigh five!!! YEAH!!!
Katie, your reasons for the trip to Hawaii were priceless! LMAO!! Of course, now I have Bing's song stuck in my head....
ReplyDeleteLynyrd, you know I despise Tex, you naughty blog leader! Shame on you! :-)
I can just picture him proudly showing off the pen to his folks...."Here's where I eat....sleep.....exercise....and meet my boyfriend Bubba."
I have sympathy towards the killers' parents. They probably wondered where they went wrong.
Hi Venus! Thanks!
ReplyDeleteI do feel sorry for Tex's parents. I'm sure that was a shock to them.
It's so far-reaching how far this goes....
All the killers' parents were embarrassed and confused. Tex, Leslie, Pat, and maybe Susan.
It's natural as a parent to blame yourself, but in reality, sometimes kids go hairwire and do things that you wouldn't even imagine.
I'm sure his parents' hearts were broken, they didn't teach him to act that way. They did the best to bring him up.
I really don't blame Charlie for all of Tex's wrongdoings. I think Tex was just a bad seed.
All the killers managed to break a lot of hearts...families of killers and victims alike.
Bobby...could be!!!
