"Last week we showed you the story of Matthew Roberts, an L.A. musician who says he may be the son of convicted cult leader and murderer Charles Manson. Now CNN has identified Manson’s grandson, Jason Freeman and on Thursday DNA tests will be performed on Roberts and Freeman. An Ohio lab will reveal the results one week later. DNA specialists say if Jason and Matthew are both related to Manson, the genetic correlation will be undeniable. Tune in next week for an update".

I would say Charlie's is already in the database...
CNN is probably paying for the other two, anything for a story, ya know..
Funny, Matthew said he already did one but the results were inconclusive because Charlie's sample was contaminated...LOL
Wonder where he (Matthew)got the "sample"..the State of Calif takes them on anyone imprisoned on a felony...I doubt that "sample" was contaminated, and like I said, it's probably already been tested and in the dBase.

If it's old news, please forgive. I haven't followed this part of the case. This says he has "night terrors" because of his supposed parentage. If that were the case, I would think he'd never utter this to anyone else on earth. But yet he's on the national news trying to get attention.
I'm finding this story hard to swallow. What does he hope to gain from this? It's got to be monetary in some way.
Seems like a losing proposition either way to me. If the test comes back negative then he's just another media whore looking for his 15 minutes. If it's positive, then he's the bastard son of one of the most hated men on the planet.

ReplyDeleteHe found his biological mom a few years ago and it was she, that told him he was conceived at an orgy in San Francisco and Charlie (or 3 other guys) was his father....something like that.
@Lurch - agree, 100%... lose lose situation.
The other kid, Jason would be Charlie's grandson...not son. I thought DNA was proved by the female lineage...but I'm behind on the technology....I'm sure it's advanced a whole lot...

Kimchi, in watching the Casey Anthony trial, I learned quite a bit about DNA.

1. Rosalie - the son that killed himself in 1993, Jason is his son, Charlie's grandson..
2. Candy - but he wasn't married to her, she forged the documents for some reason, but has a son from Charlie, (he has never surfaced)
3. Mary - Pooh Bear/Michael
Wouldn't you love to know how Ted Bundy's daughter, whom he fathered while on death row, has turned out. Yeah, I know it is creepy, but a curious mind has such desires.

And I really don't know how ANY of these kids can be traced back to one man anyway. When you have people screwing all the time 24/7, the chances of pinning down the daddy is probably smaller than winning the lottery, which can be 1,000,000 to 1.
