Here's some information on "RAR" files.

But anyway... until Mattp shows up... this is all I've got.

Evidently, it's a compressed file format... such as the Zip or Winzip stuff.
It makes transferring large files (online) faster.
Bottom line folks...
You will have to download software to open (unzip)... or probably more accurately stated... uncompress... these "RAR" files... for listening.
It seems there is plenty of free software programs out there (to open RAR files), if you don't mind downloading one to your computer.
"CNET Download" usually has great free (non-virus) software, for this kind of stuff...

ReplyDeletealot of laptops such as apple allready have programs factory installed that will unzip these files so you should check before downloading other software.
winrar and 7-zip are both good free programs you can use to unzip all kinds of files be they rar, zip, flac etc.
once you've downloaded the file right click on it, the program you're using should show up on the drop down menu,it'll ask you what folder you want to put it in.
once you choose a folder click go and you should be all set

ReplyDeleteOn the lighter side, I saw on the news where a woman was chosen to serve on a jury, and she went back the next day and said she talked to her pastor and he told her it was a sin to judge someone, so the judge let her off, leaving only 11 jurors.
