Bitchin photo - Kirk (Arlene?)looks a bit like Patty's grandma on her dad's side. Patty will think of Mrs. Barker next time she's up at the ruins of Kirk's once awesome little place, mebbe leave her photo in the bunkhouse (?). Patty will definitely go back there again and again: it's a beautiful place, irregardless.
Huh. Patty had not thought of it that way but yes, at the end of her life, Pattys grandma did live in the desert. It was good for her emphysema. We'd go visit when I was a kid - mebbe that's why Patty cannot ever get enough. We are all products of our experience, no?

Well, I don't cotton to the desert but I guess beauty is in the eye of the beholder. :)
