Debra Tate's Home Robbed...
Sharon's Stuff Stolen.
Debra believes she knows the thief...
Thursday, 01 Sep 201, by Tony Spearman - myFOXla.comLos Angeles - On Thursday Debra Tate, the executor of her sister Sharon Tate's estate, talked to us about the recent burglary of her home. During the break-in Sharon's wedding dress, furs, and other items were stolen. Debra thinks she knows who was behind the theft but said she needs more proof.
Debra asked anyone with information on the robbery to contact her via www.sharontate.net , and she will forward any info to the police.

New Legal Trouble for Casey Anthony

It seems the thief was familiar with the premises... knew Sharon's stuff was there... and where to find it.
Debra doesn't relate any ransacking, which one would expect from a blind search of the place.
It sounds like the person entered... took exactly what they wanted only (i.e., Sharon's stuff)... and left.
I don't know how much money Debra has personally... but assuming she's fairly wealthy... one would think she'd keep such items in a safe... or some type of contracted high-security storage unit.
Yeah, you would think that anything as irreplaceable as Sharon's things would be in a secured area. Is this the stuff she was keeping in a trunk that she revealed a while back?
If she thinks she knows who it is, why doesn't she just tell the police to go investigate.
I wonder who she thinks it is.
I went to sharontate.net and logging on the message board has been disabled, so I'm not sure how she expects anyone to comment there.
Lynyrd could you please keep the gate locked? Katie keeps getting out and shitting in other peoples' yards.
Suze it looks like you're shitting in this one as we speak.
Regarding Casey Anthony, this defense attorney Keith Sullivan doesn't have his facts straight.
First of all, Cheney did catch one invoice in error, but the time period was the error, not the hours.
Cheney is arguing that the cost recovery that is being sought should only be for the time period of July 16, 2008, when Casey finally admitted Caylee was missing, until law enforcement found out that Casey was just making up a bunch of stories regarding Caylee's whereabouts, which was shortly after that.
The Prosecution states that the costs to be recovered should be during the time period of July 16, 2008 thru December 19, 2008, December 19th being the day the found remains were identified as Caylee.
Judge Belvin Perry is the same judge would presided over the criminal trial and he's also the judge who ordered Casey back to Florida to serve her probation. He has until September 22 to issue his ruling, or get an extension.
I'm sure that he will assess the maximum against Casey that he can.
This Keith Sullivan also says that ordering Casey to pay costs violates her constitutional rights. I'm not sure where he's getting this.
It's a law in Florida that the prosecution has the right to recover costs from ANY defendent who was found guilty of any charge. Casey isn't being singled out. The State of Florida spent a lot of money trying to find a missing girl, who wasn't even missing, and by her attorneys' own admittance, it was all just a big lie. So I'm very sure she will end up paying something.
And there are other entities who are standing in line to sue Casey for her lying about where Caylee was.
All the manpower and man-hours wasted looking for a kidnapped child. Casey's legal battles are far from over.
I'm just wondering who is paying Casey's rent, bills, groceries, etc. I guess those attorneys. I would think they would be tired of supporting her by now.
Boy those women newscasters look like they should work at Hooters. HA HA.
I've gotta hand it to that guy. You don't see him staring at all that cleavage.
It's like Jerry Seinfeld once said:
"You don't stare at cleavage, you just take a quick look..then look away. It's like looking at the sun."
HA HA HA.
Isn't this the same Good Morning LA trio that interviewed Marlin Marynick when he was promoting Manson Now?
They stepped all over each other, and him, firing off questions they didn't give him a chance to answer.
They pretty much botched what should have been a revealing interview.
Hi Tom.
I'm not sure if it's the same crew or not, but they're definitely not wearing the same dresses, showing all that cleavage.
HA HA HA.
You're exactly right Tom. They were so "foot heavy" that they didn't allow him to answer any questions completely.
The same with the Debra Tate stuff. They are way too "motor mouthed".
Great observation Tom!
I didn't notice that... but, I believe you're 100% correct.
It's the same interview crew.
And Ironically... the brunette all the way to the right... dominates the interview in the same fashion AGAIN.
I totally agree.
They fired questions at Marlin, in such rapid succession... they barely gave Marlin a chance to answer anything to completion.
Their interview tactics were truly boardering on rude!
Sorry Tom... I fixed it!
Anyway... here's the Marlin footage, and you're absolutely right!
http://www.myfoxla.com/dpp/good_day_la/marlin-marynick-on-gdla-20110118
They're even sitting in the same positions!!!
They seem to be somewhat 'amateurish" in their approach.
They're definitely not "Tom Brokaw"...
Normally, I have no problem with dominant brunettes. No problems at 'tall. However, in the field of journalism, ask a question and let the person ANSWER the question. There is protocol in all things, if you will.
Sorry... that's "bordering" on rude... not "boardering". LOL
Anyway... I doubled-checked the Marlin footage again... and yes... it's the same three interviewers... sitting in the same exact positions:
http://www.myfoxla.com/dpp/good_day_la/marlin-marynick-on-gdla-20110118
I agree.
If you're going to conduct an interview... at least let the guest answer the questions.
Watching it again... I got the impression... the brunette was something of a "TLB Buff"... and let her excitement over the topic get in the way.
Although... all three were pretty veracious... competing with each other for Marlin's attention.
They always do the same thing with Manson.
Every time Manson is about to say something really good... they de-rail him... changing the subject.
Geraldo was famous for that stuff.
It looks like our girl Casey, may rack-up debts which will follow her to the grave.
They're talking a figure of around 500K!
The average mortgage is 250K, in my area... and generally takes couples 30 years to pay... both working their ass off...
500K... that oughtta keep her busy for a while! : )
Well whoever they are, their attire is completely inappropriate for newscasting.
Maybe if they were pole-dancing or lap-dancing, it would be okay.
I don't know what kind of news station would let them dress like that.
Their attire was completely non-professional, as were their journalism skills.
Larry King was a good interviewer. The set was quiet and sane. He established a rapport with his guest, maybe they opened up, maybe they didn't. But they had an open space to complete a thought.
These Cable News folks just shout and opine over everybody, like they are the story. Everybody needs to be the big shot these days.
You really can learn alot if you listen.
Absolutely...
Larry King did an interview with Neil Young in recent years, which I truly enjoyed.
You really got a true sense for the man (Young)... it was fabulous.
that news reporter in the blue stripe is totally obsessed with sharon tate. she tries to even look like her.
if nelson wasn't dead i'd say he stole the items.

When she interviewed Marlin... I seemed to sense a TLB interest of some sort, as well...
Hmm...
I thought she had more than a professional interest as well.
Watch the clip and decide for yourself.
As much as Debra Tate annoys me, I am very sorry that this happened to her. She did not deserve that.
I hope whoever did it is caught and the items returned to Debra.

Thanks AC... and well said.
I agree.
Nice to see you, and hope you're doing well!

I have never watched MyfoxLA. I watch the news on channel 2- they had Jerry Dumfy and Hal Fishman- news journalist who had been around a long time. They now have Paul Majors....>>>>>
Ah...Jerry Dunphy...my mother loved his nightly "from the desert to the sea, to all of Southern California, good evening!"

I wonder if it was someone that believes Sharon's things don't belong with Debra...
>>>Marliese said: I wonder if it was someone that believes Sharon's things don't belong with Debra...>>>
I wonder who that might be. Maybe Patti's daughter or friend who is currently writing the new book on Sharon?
I don't know anything about those people except that The Col keeps saying that Debra was disinherited by her father. I don't even know if that's true, but if it is, there's bound to be hard feelings among remaining family members.
And if so, that's a real shame. I can't imagine that Sharon would want them fighting over her things.
I'm not surprised that Sharon's things were not in a safe or storage unit. I am under the impression that Debra Tate is NOT wealthy. I think she worked for the Postal Service for many years. I'm not sure what she does now.

Hi Carol, I am under that same impression...that Debra is not wealthy. I recall reading somewhere that she lived on a ranch in Riverside County, though her situation could be different now. And I recall hearing something about she has or had no internet connection, so a friend was updating her site etc etc.
Carol & Marliese, I had no idea that Debra didn't have any money.
In fact, I know very little about Debra. I think when they were doing the Barker dig, she was interviewed and said something about living on a ranch.
Is she even married??? Have children?
Hi, Katie and Marliese. I may be wrong about Debra's financial situation, but from what I've read over the years, she's held a number of jobs, including the one at USPS. I believe she's divorced and has a grown daughter.
Thanks Carol! I didn't even know she had children.
I can't even imagine being 16 years old, having a 10-year older sister who was in the "business", married to a newly successful director, hanging out with her from time to time with movie stars, looking forward to the birth of your first niece or nephew, and then learning one day that your sister is dead.
That's gotta be a huge drain. That's putting it mildly.
The Tate family suffered a loss that most people don't have to suffer.
It's no wonder that Doris went into hiding for years. I don't blame her.
As for Debra, I know a lot of people don't like her, but I think she's coping as well as can be expected. I think she really loved her sister, and it was a big blow to her.
I know I am coming late to this story, but it really should be myFOXyLAdy.com
Katie, I agree with your comments about Debra. I can't imagine what it must have been like for her. I don't think Doris was able to "be there" for her and Patti, by Doris' own admission. I'd love to know why Col. Tate cut her out of his will. BTW, is Col. Tate buried at Holy Cross with the rest of his family?
Carol, the rumor mill has it that Debra was supposed to inter Col Tate's ashes in the plot area where the family is buried, but she did something else with those ashes. I have no idea if there is any truth to that.
Hi Starship!
>>>Starship said: I know I am coming late to this story, but it really should be myFOXyLAdy.com>>>
VA-VA-VOOM!! There's a whole lotta skin showing on that news set.
HA HA.
Hey, Katie,
I still don't think I can comment on the story as... well, I find myself, so distracted....
We're getting more rain these days then we did with Irene. Things are looking grim again...flooding, etc...
Starship, I can't decide if those newsgals want to be serious newscasters or they're secretly vying for flavor-of-the-month for Playboy Magazine. HA HA.
Sorry to hear about your flooding troubles. We're having the exact opposite problem here. Lots of fire and no rain in sight.
I wish different areas could switch weather patterns out with each other at times. That would be great!
Thanks, Katie. If Col. Tate was supposed to be interred in the Holy Cross plot and Debra did not respect those wishes, then that's really awful on Debra's part.
The brunetter (Jillian Barberie Reynolds) used to be blonde and did have a resemblance to Sharon. I remember seeing her in some magazine that showed off her closet (don't ask me why!) and there was a photo of Sharon in it. It seemed to be pretty obvious that she was a fan. I've never heard how she got to know Debra.
Hey Venus!!
Welcome to the blog!!
She has a photo of Sharon in her closet??
Wow... now that's different. LOL
Maybe that's why the other two newscasters let her take charge, every time there's a TLB-related program...
Hello Carol!
Nice to see you again!!
Hello Carol!
Nice to see you again!!
Thanks, Lynryd!
Hi, Venus!
Hi Carol MR! Thanks for the welcome, Lynryd! Yes, I remember the photo of Sharon in Jillian's closet very well. It was a common one that I'm sure we've all seen before. Sharon's wearing a sleeveless beige sweater top, it's a close-up, she has thin eyebrows and her hair is parted in the middle and shoulder length. I think it was on top of a dresser in Jillian's large closet. At the time Jillian had blonde hair and it seemed like she was trying to show the resemblance. There was one, but now Jillian is in her early 40's so I don't think she can carry it off as well even though she's a very attractive woman.
